Terms and Conditions for Car Hire
The term “hirer” shall refer to the person or persons identified on the booking form as the bride
and/or groom and/or the person who signed the booking form.
Bookings are accepted only following receipt of a deposit of €100 per car. Deposit or any other
amount paid in advance is non-refundable. Please make cheques payable to Coolmanagh Enterprises T/A Odyssey.
The full balance must be paid to the driver on the day of your wedding.
Change of date
If you change the date of your wedding you must notify us in writing. If the car(s) you have booked
are not available on your new date then the booking will be cancelled without refund of deposit.
If you change any other details of your wedding e.g. collection address, church or hotel, you must notify us in writing or complete a new booking form. (We will post one on request.)
Cancellations must be made in writing. If you cancel within 8 weeks of the wedding date, the entire
balance will be payable immediately and shall become a legal liability of the hirer.
If we are unable to source ribbons in your requested colour we will supply an alternative colour or
you may supply your own ribbons.(Material not plastic please)
Generally we do not provide Champagne and Champagne may not be consumed while the car is in motion. (Executive Lincoln Town Car,The Jordan Excalibur and The Morris Ambulance are the exceptions ). This is necessary to comply with insurance regulations. If the vehicle is stopped at your photo point then champagne may be consumed outside of the car.
In the unlikely event that the car(s) you book become unavailable or have a problem on the day(due to unforeseen circumstances) every effort will be made to substitute another car.
Children under 3 years of age are not permitted to travel in our cars. This is necessary to comply
with regulations regarding child seats.
Passengers under 17 years of age must wear seatbelts in our cars where provided.
In the event if any claim or dispute arising, the maximum liability of Odyssey to the
hirer shall not exceed the total amount paid by the hirer.
